Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressure to compromise his faith in a hostile culture and was constantly confronted by temptations and threats, today’s believers face similar trials. This 12 session study falls in two parts – chapters 1-6 deals with Daniel’s life as he faced the kinds of pressures and temptations Christians face today. Daniel models how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world. Chapters 7-12 explore thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel to the second coming of Christ.
God’s Women of Yesterday Speak Boldly to God’s Women of Today. The Women of the Bible play an integral, essential and crucial role in the eternal plan of God. From Heaven’s point of view, women are always unique, matchless and irreplaceable. They are never to be found in a subservient ranking within the kingdom of God. As this study shows, the women of the Bible demonstrate to us the lofty ideals of faith & faithfulness, virtues & values, brains & beauty, redemption & resourcefulness, servanthood & sacrifice. Through detailed study of these Women, you will learn that God has called today’s women to play a significant role in society, home, and the church.
Living with joy can be difficult. We live in a negative, conflict-ridden world. When there are so many things set up to steal your joy, how do you overcome? Newberry believes we must first start with our thoughts. Using Philippians 4:8 as a guide, he shows how you can shape your thoughts and thereby influence your attitudes and actions. Take a moment to learn "The 4:8 Principle." By thinking on what is true, noble, just, pure and lovely you too can experience the joy-filled life!
Join Beth Moore in an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried and pressured lives. (10 weeks)
Today's believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. We believe this one project represents the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ, as we expect that thousands will be transformed by this curriculum. As it has been throughout history, God continues to call ordinary people to make an eternal difference in our world.
